OCIO

Investment Office Resources, LLC (IOR) Winner

The primary driver of Investment Office Resources’ success in the OCIO category is its innovative approach to providing flexible, customizable investment solutions. IOR combines internal expertise with best-fit external vendors to custom-build investment functions for institutional investors.

“This model allows institutions to maintain a high degree of control and oversight while benefiting from IOR’s extensive industry experience and award-winning leadership,” says Tony Waskiewicz, the firm’s founder, president and CIO. “IOR functions as part of the client’s executive leadership team, ensuring that their unique needs and objectives are always at the forefront of the investment strategy.”

Unlike some other outsourcing options available, Waskiewicz says IOR’s success in recent years stems from a unique ability to enable in-house investment teams to add bandwidth and expertise in a flexible structure, one that can work with different asset owners’ available budgets.

Over the past 18 months, the firm’s contributions to the institutional investment industry have included development of specialized services such as IOResearch, IORisk Aware and IOResponsive Investing, which focus on niche strategies, risk management and ESG/DE&I integration.

“These offerings provide institutions with tools that enhance their investment processes, delivering solutions that are often difficult to access,” Waskiewicz says.
