SEI Investments Company and its software offering, SEI Novus, sit at the core of the relationship between asset owners and asset managers. Among SEI’s core strengths are aggregating, cleansing and warehousing investment data to construct an Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and power portfolio analytics.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the firm expanded the SEI Novus platform to include a private equity analytics suite, support with data and analytics for illiquid investments.

Earlier this year, SEI Novus expanded its digital data operations capabilities. The new tools help users rectify contradictory or delayed information to achieve greater transparency, accuracy and control of their assets. Additionally, SEI Novus can ingest data from multiple custodians and manager statements, including cash flow notices, valuation statements, estimates, official performance records, quarterly financial updates and hedge fund fact sheets.
