Led by some of Neuberger Berman’s most experienced investors, the team works closely with institutional investors to offer a range of portfolio solutions that are tailored to the unique needs of clients, including absolute return, benchmark- relative, income-oriented and liability-aware mandates.

With flexibility to invest across asset classes, the team incorporates both traditional and alternative risk premia in building diversified portfolios of uncorrelated exposures and sources of alpha. Risk is managed using a proprietary framework that includes risk-budgeting as well as credit and beta hedges seeking to mitigate volatility and reduce market drawdowns.

Neuberger Berman recently deepened its commitment to innovation in this area by acquiring Breton Hill Capital in November 2017 to further enhance its quantitative team.
