It’s not too late to register for upcoming events at our 2021 Virtual Chief Investment Officer Symposium. It’s too late to view today’s panels, alas, but you can still sign in to see videos of the previous two days of panels.

Register now to watch the symposium’s in-depth conversations on replay and Friday’s panels live here. Registration is open to CIOs, allocators, and their investment teams.

Our panel topics were picked after consulting with CIOs, and are meant to be relevant to what you face in the financial world today. Friday’s panels, for instance, cover science-oriented investing and value opportunities resulting from the pandemic. Many luminaries from the allocator world are our panelists.

Today, we’ll launch with information about the CIO job market, straight from the source—the recruiters themselves. At the panel (starting at 10:55 a.m. EDT today) our moderator is Walter Kress, the CIO of EY, who will guide the discussion on this panel, which is back by popular demand.

He’ll interview headhunters Renee Neri, head of asset management, Americas, Heidrick & Struggles; Elizabeth Havens, partner; David Barrett Partners; and Jeff  Warren, co-head of the private equity practice, Russell Reynolds Associates, to talk about what they’re currently seeing in the post-COVID-19 recruitment market.

Tune in at 12:30 p.m. EDT for a not-to-miss fireside chat with China. We’ll talk directly with Sow Kwan, the president of E Fund Management, the largest asset manager in the country. In this not-to-miss fireside chat, we will be discussing China’s bankable five-year plan and the post-pandemic market.

At 2 p.m. EDT, we’ll be meeting for an in-depth discussion with three leading CIOs about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). The conversation, with Robin Diamonte, CIO of Raytheon; Bryan Lewis, CIO of US Steel; and Doug Brown, CIO of Exelon Corp. will cover evolving best practices within their own teams, with diverse manager selection, and what they’re doing with non-diverse managers.
