(April 11, 2013) — A capacity crowd of the world’s top institutional investors are descending on New York’s Harvard Club today for a two-day conference on empowering chief investment officers.
The summit, held by aiCIO, features speakers from across the world, including New Zealand’s Superannuation Fund’s David Iverson, CenturyLink Investment Management’s Kathy Lutito, The Kresge Foundation’ Donna L. Snider, and CERN Pension Fund’s Theodore Economou.
Among the topics to be discussed on Thursday are Investment Dashboard and Other Portfolio-Tracking Technology, CIOs Bucking Investment Trends, and The Benefits, Drawbacks and Nuances of In-House Asset Management.
In addition, the conference will hear arguments on whether the end is nigh for traditional asset classes, the latest thinking on risk management, and how we as an industry can work towards giving CIOs more freedom to just get on with their job.
This marks the fourth CIO Summit in New York City, but if you were thinking of coming along and haven’t already registered your interest, aiCIO regrets to inform you that you’re sadly too late.
