Scaramucci “Ready to Serve” in Trump Administration

At the recent SALT conference, SkyBridge Capital Founder Anthony Scaramucci commented on his unrealized public liaison position.

Anthony Scaramucci is “ready to serve” President Donald Trump’s administration, despite his anticipated public liaison role not coming to fruition.

“I am ready to serve,” Scaramucci said during opening remarks at the annual SALT (SkyBridge Alternatives) conference last week in Las Vegas, The New York Times reported. “And so, to the extent the president needs me, I will be available to him.”

Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital LLC, announced in January that he was selling the hedge funds-of-funds firm. At that time, Scaramucci—who was part of Trump’s transition team—was tapped for a public liaison/advisory job with the new administration. However, this position did not materialize.

Scaramucci still considers a White House position a possibility and said at SALT that he will know in the coming weeks whether he will be working in Trump’s administration, Reuters reported. If it doesn’t work out, he said he is contemplating a new business in asset management.
