Marcy Rappaport Named Director of Business Development, Consultant Relations at Xponance

Rappaport previously served as the director of marketing and client relationship management at LongTrail Alpha.

 


Xponance Inc., an employee-owned, woman-led, multi-strategy investment firm with $12 billion in assets under management as of September 30, 2022, announced this week that Marcy Rappaport has joined the firm as its director of business development and consultant relations.

Rappaport will be responsible for the development and service of new business opportunities through direct investor relationships and through the consulting community, and she will report to Len Oremland, Xponance’s head of distribution.

“We are thrilled to welcome Marcy to Xponance in this newly created position,” Oremland said in the announcement. “Her depth of experience and knowledge across our industry are invaluable and great complements to our team and business.”

Rappaport brings 30 years of financial services experience, with previous roles at Stone Harbor Investment Partners, BlackRock, Silver Point Capital, PIMCO, Accenture and David L. Babson. She most recently served as the director of marketing and client relationship management at LongTrail Alpha, a boutique, quantitative-risk-focused investment firm.

Rappaport is a CFA charter holder and graduated with a B.A. from Wellesley College, studying both math and Spanish. She also earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In her new role with Philadelphia-based Xponance, Rappaport will work remotely from Southern California.
