Jacmel Partners announced Wednesday the launch of a new infrastructure platform, Jacmel Infrastructure as part of the firm’s push in the asset class. The firm named senior advisor Mike Salzman as operating partner.
The new platform will target investments in the transportation, energy, social, and digital sectors across critical infrastructure projects and operating platforms.
Salzman has been a senior advisor to the firm since 2023. He was previously managing principal at Active Edge Capital Ventures. Prior to that, he was global head of airports for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield a Paris-based real estate company, the chief development officer for Brightline Trains in Florida and senior vice president of development at Caesars Entertainment.
“Given the strong bipartisan support for infrastructure investing, combined with broader macro tailwinds and an increasing desire for diverse representation across key markets, we could not be more excited to unveil this new chapter for our firm,” said Jorge Mora, co-managing partner at Jacmel, in a statement.
Salzman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College and a master’s in business administration in real estate, finance and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
