Canada’s PSP Investments Opens European Hub

London-based team will focus on private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.

The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), one of the largest pension investment managers in Canada, has launched a European hub with the opening of a new office in London.

The new European team will focus on high-quality, long-term investments concentrating on private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.

“PSP Investments’ vision is to be a leading global institutional investor that delivers on its risk-return objective by driving a total fund perspective,” said André Bourbonnais, president and CEO of PSP Investments. “Establishing a European hub is a strategic milestone for us and demonstrates our confidence and commitment to the region.”

The investment managing firm has partnered with several organizations in the region, such as Partners Group, SEGRO European Logistics Partnership, BC Partners, Permira, and CVC Capital Partners. The European hub is intended to further enable PSP Investments to capitalize on opportunities while developing strategic partnerships locally.
