Whiteout Redux

In 2014, CIO launched an investigation into just how diverse the asset-owning community was. The results were not good. Two years later, fund leadership has changed little. Most large public pension CIOs are still white and male, while black and Hispanic CIOs continue to be wholly absent from the biggest endowments. Diversity remains a long way off—for now.
